Agnes T. (Skarzynski) Siwinski

Agnes Theresa (Skarzynski) Siwinski, 95, passed away on January 12, 2016 at the Center for Extended Care in Amherst. Born in Gary, West Virginia to the late Waclaw and Rosalie (Domaszewicz) Skarzynski, she was a lifelong resident of Springfield. She had worked for many years as a secretary in the Springfield public schools. Agnes was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Parish, a member of the Polish Women’s Alliance, and enjoyed traveling.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond M. Siwinski, 7 brothers, 4 sisters and a daughter-in-law, Jane Siwinski.

She leaves her children: Joyce Clifford and her husband Eugene of Williamson, NY, Raymond Siwinski, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of St. Petersburg, FL and Ronald Siwinski and his wife Judith of Manly, NSW, Australia. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 with Calling Hours from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Indian Orchard and proceeding to St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1023 Parker St., Springfield for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Easthampton.
