David Roger Voisine, 45, passed away with his loving family by his side on September 3, 2015 at MA General Hospital after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born in Springfield to Patricia A. (Beaulieu) Voisine and the late Norman R. Voisine, he was a lifelong Indian Orchard resident and communicant of St. Jude Church. David attended St. Matthews School and was a 1988 graduate of Putnam Vocational High School. He attended STCC and earned a mechanical degree from Quinnipiac College in CT. He worked as a machine technician at Worcester Envelope, Westvaco and most recently at Cenveo Envelope Group, Westfield. David enjoyed hunting, golfing and especially fishing and had a fun loving sarcastic humor appreciated by those who knew him.

David leaves his mother, Patricia Voisine of Indian Orchard; his brother, Kenneth R. Voisine and wife Donna of Belchertown; niece and Godchild, Abigail, niece Lillian and nephews Nathaniel and Alexander; aunts and uncles: Robert (Dorothy) Beaulieu, Mona Voisine, Patricia Mulvey, Darrel (Gloria) Pelletier and Godparents Roger “CJ” Voisine and Geraldine Voisine; and many cousins, other family members and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Rosen of Mercy Hospital, Dr. Karen Ballen and all the doctors and nurses at MA General Cancer Center for the compassionate care given to David and also to all those who sent their thoughts and prayers.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2015 assembling at 9:00 a.m. at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services and proceeding to Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015.
