Debra (LaPan) Fugatt

Debra LaPan Smith Fugatt, 66, passed away January 11, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. Born in Springfield, MA on December 13, 1951 to the late Alfred LaPan and Fay Coderre LaPan Lind, she grew up in Springfield and attended Springfield Technical High School. Debra lived in Worcester and recently retired after a long career at Harrington Hospital.

She leaves 2 sons: Brandon Smith and his wife Soleil and their daughter Ella and Dustin Smith and his husband Chris Jacoby; her longtime companion, Nickanole Caraballo; 4 sisters, Arlene LaPan, Pam Korzec, Robin Perreault and Jacki Shadle; a brother, Jon LaPan and many cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Mike Fugatt; her brother Randy LaPan and also her former husband Peter Smith.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield.
