Edward F. Musiak
October 10, 1936 ~ February 10, 2017 (age 80) 80 Years OldEdward Felix Musiak, 80, of Springfield and formerly a 36 year resident of New Orleans, LA, passed away February 10, 2017 at Heritage Hall West in Agawam. He was born in Ludlow to the late Joseph and Mary Rose Musiak. Edward served in the Navy during WWII. He worked as an electrical ignitions systems technician on oil rigs. He was an avid fisherman, an accomplished archer and enjoyed good food with the company of family and friends. He loved dogs, especially his late dog Holly who was always by his side.
Edward leaves his children, his son Edward Musiak and his wife Terry Begley-Musiak of Springfield, his daughter Angela Marie Musiak of Indian Orchard and his daughter Kristin Musiak of Stafford Springs, CT; a brother, Thomas Musiak and his wife Marcia of Windsor, MA; two grandsons and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Richard Musiak.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Indian Orchard. Committal services with military honors will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam at 3:00 p.m.
