Elizabeth A. (Bator) Magiera

Elizabeth A. (Bator) Magiera, 74, passed away April 16, 2017 at Life Care Center of Wilbraham. Born in Ludlow on March 1, 1943 to the late Andrew and Julia (Nietupski) Bator, she was a lifelong Ludlow resident and a parishioner of Christ the King Church. She was educated in Ludlow schools and attended Springfield Technical Community College. Betty worked as a medical transcriptionist at Radiology and Imaging, Inc., retiring in 2007.  She had also worked at Ludlow Hospital and as a waitress at Howard Johnson. Betty was very proud of her home and spent time maintaining her yard.

She leaves her sons, Michael R. Magiera and his wife Debra of Palmer and Mark S. Magiera and his wife Yvette of Ludlow and also her cousin and best friend, Sandra Thompson and her husband Robert of Ludlow.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Life Care Center of Wilbraham for the compassionate care given to her.

 A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Cemetery, Berkshire Ave., Indian Orchard.
