Emily S. (Partyka) Nowak

Emily S. (Partyka) Nowak passed away peacefully, on May 11, 2016 at Life Care Center of Wilbraham, with her loving family by her side. Born in Chicopee to the late Bartlomeij and Stefania (Pierog) Partyka, she was a graduate of Chicopee High School. She was a bookkeeper for Chicopee Provision Company. Emily was a faithful communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, she was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality and the Sacred Heart Sodality. She was also a member of the Polish American Veterans Auxiliary.

Emily leaves a daughter, Joann Nowak of Wilbraham; a son, Joseph Nowak and his wife Susan of Wilbraham, and their sons, Mario and Michael Mercadante of Martha's Vineyard and many nephews, nieces, family members and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Eugene J.“Breezy” Nowak; her brothers, John, Leo and Jerome Partyka and her sisters, Estelle Sambor and Helen Lodigiani.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday May 17 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery. Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements.
