Gail M. (Doran) Hawley

Gail Marie (Doran) Hawley, 63, passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2017 at home in Ludlow, MA. Born in North Adams to the late Walter and Florence (Gingras) Doran, she was a lifelong resident of Springfield and Ludlow. Gail worked as a registered nurse where she specialized in renal care. She retired from Baystate Medical Center after more than 20 years then continued working at Fresenius Healthcare. She enjoyed camping in her RV, relaxing at the beach, watching stock-car racing and riding her Harley.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by both of her brothers, Richard and Dennis Doran.

Gail will forever be missed by her son, Thomas LaFleur Jr. of Ludlow and his long-time partner Angela Howard, her daughter Nicole LaFleur-Henry of Springfield and her former husband, Donald J. Henry; her four grandchildren, Mikel LaFleur, CJ Jackson, Jeremy LaFleur and Emma Henry; her nephew Dwayne Doran and his wife Karen, their children Connor and Shawna; her nephew Shawn Doran and his wife Allison, their children Emma and Tyler as well as many other family members and friends.

Funeral services for Gail will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 with Calling Hours from 10am-1pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Service, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield with a Prayer Service to follow in the funeral home at 1pm. A reception will then follow at Shakago’s, 23 Hampden St., Springfield, MA, 01103.
