Helen A. (Wyzik) Jacek, 86, passed away June 12, 2016 at Life Care Center of Wilbraham. She was born in Wilbraham to the late John and Josephine (Biel) Wyzik. Helen was a communicant of Christ the King Church in Ludlow and was a member and former treasurer and secretary of the Polish American Veterans-Auxiliary. She worked as the restaurant manager of Forbes & Wallace at the Eastfield Mall for nine years, at Smith & Wesson as a gun stock inspector, and her last job was at City Tire, Wilbraham, where she was the office manager. She was also an accomplished seamstress. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Jacek.
She leaves her sons Donald Jacek and wife Pauline; Daniel Jacek and wife Suzanne, David Jacek and wife Sharon; daughter Suzanne Torres and husband James; nine grandchildren: Jeremiah, Andrew, Michael, Kellie, Benjamin, and Colby Jacek, and Kaitlin, Melanie, and Adam Torres and 2 great-grandchildren, Samantha and Savannah Jacek.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016, assembling at 10:00 a. m. at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield, and proceeding to Christ the King Church, 41 Warsaw Ave., Ludlow for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. Calling hours are Sunday, June 19, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
