Jacqueline K. (Kowalik) Lanucha

Jacqueline K. (Kowalik) Lanucha, age 85, passed away February 27, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Boston and raised in Clinton, MA, she moved to Springfield, MA in 1953 where she worked at Insurance Company of North America for five years. She married John Lanucha in 1955 and raised 2 sons, John P. and Joseph F. From 1970 to 1986 she worked for the Springfield School Department as a paraprofessional. In retirement, she was an active member of the Springfield Garden Club for over 25 years. After 61 years of marriage, her husband died in 2016.

Besides her sons, she leaves 2 grandchildren, Crystal and Joseph and his wife LeeAnn; a daughter-in-law, Terri; a sister, Phyllis and a niece, Kathy of Bend, Oregon.

Calling hours are Friday, March 2, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Indian Orchard followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 a. m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 25 Parker St., Indian Orchard. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Mayher St., Easthampton.
