I just now heard of "Jo-Jo" passing away. We were across the street neighbors in Calais, and played together often and how we loved going for bike rides! I haven't seen her for well over 40 yrs, but when I saw her eyes in the photo......there she was, the way I remembered her. I was so sorry to hear she had ALS, it's a cruel thing. Rest in peace.

To Joanne's family,
Jeff and I want to express our deepest sorrow at Joanne's passing. She and I became friends over Facebook. My connection to Joanne is my experience with my Dad's personal fight with ALS. Joanne was a strong and courageous woman and I was proud to know her. She had a long fight and I never saw her express negativity. God bless you all for your love and care of her through this time, you have done good. Joanne is now resting in the arms of our Lord and is fully herself again and at peace.

I am so sorry for your loss Steph! My heart hurts for you and your family! She was such an amazing woman! So kind and giving. She was very special to me. I loved spending time at your house.
