John "Jack" D. Robare

John “Jack” David Robare, 76, passed away April 2, 2018 at Wingate at Springfield. Born in North Adams, MA to the late John A. and Christina (Grande) Robare, he was a lifelong Springfield resident and was a graduate of Trade High School. John was the owner of the former Robare’s Home Appliance in Springfield for over 40 years. He was an avid New England Patriots fan and loved all animals, but had a special fondness for birds, which he took pride in caring for.

He leaves his wife of 24 years, Sherry Robare; his daughter, Christina Robare Kynbel of Longmeadow; his granddaughter, Kayla Bowker of Longmeadow; his sister, Judith Tauer of The Villages, FL; a nephew, Gerard Thibodeau and his wife Barbara of Texas; a niece Jacqueline Waterhouse of West Springfield; his beloved dog, Ginger and also many other family members and friends.

Services are private and entrusted to Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services.
