Karen Cardigan

Karen Cardigan, 51, died March 22, 2016. She was born in Springfield to Jean Cardigan and the late Charles Lovely. Karen worked as a Developmental Specialist Worker for the State of Massachusetts. She was a very caring person who was always there for others and touched the lives of many people. She was extremely proud of her Scottish heritage and loved to attend festivals or any other events pertaining to the Scottish.

She leaves her partner of 13 years, Andrew Frappier; her mother, Jean Cardigan and her brother, Charles Cardigan and his wife Lisa of Palm Coast, FL; 4 sisters, Patricia Muller of Indian Orchard, Mary Jane Czupryna and her husband Stephen of Belchertown, Suzanne Lovely of Henderson, NV and Shirley Gero and her husband Leonard of Holyoke; her dear friends, Marisol Ramos and family; several nieces and nephews, other family members and her beloved cat, Feliz.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Indian Orchard followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 p.m.
