Linda J. (Fernandes) Landry

Linda Joann (Fernandes) Landry, 56, passed away August 24, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Springfield to John Fernandes and the late Sophie (Jakubaszek) Fernandes. Linda served in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserves. She was employed at Westover Air Force Base in Chicopee where she worked as a budget analyst for the Department of Defense. All who knew Linda knew her unconditional love for her children and grandson. She lived for them and devoted herself to making them happy above all. Linda loved simple pleasures in life including talking to her friends and family, being warm, the ocean, dunkin donuts coffee, and spoiling her grandson. She will forever be in our hearts and her love will live on through those who loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 14 years, Michael Landry of Ludlow; her daughter, Kimberly Therrien and husband James of South Burlington, VT; her son, Michael McKelvey of Ludlow; her grandson, Connor Therrien; her father, John Fernandes and wife Alice of Wilbraham; her sister, Lisa King and husband Daniel of Palmer; her brother, John Fernandes and wife Debbie of Wales, MA; her step-sister, Laurie Babineau of Hartford, ME; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends and also her beloved dog, Shelby.

Calling Hours will be Friday, September 1, 2017 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00PM.
