Lorraine P. (Bulewich) Fulton

Lorraine P. (Bulewich) Fulton, 87, of Ludlow, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at Wingate of East Longmeadow. Born in Springfield on Jan. 21, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Burba) Bulewich. Lorrraine was raised in Springfield  and was a 1946 graduate of Commerce High School. She lived in Springfield for many years and later in Ware for several years until she moved to Ludlow in 1985. Lorraine had a 30 year career as a bookkeeper. She worked for Agway,the Farmer’s Exchange, McDonald’s Greenhouse and Dearborn Pharmacy, until she retired in 1990. She also enjoyed working at the Big E for many years. Lorraine was a member of the First Church of Ludlow, and loved line dance and jazz dance, and bowling. She was a great Babcie who cherished her family and was never without a story to share of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

She was the wife of the late Robert H. Fulton, the grandmother of the late Brittany Mariani and the sister of the late Frank, Edward and Theodore Bulewich. She is survived by a daughter, Valerie Mariani and her husband Craig of Ludlow, two sons, Keith Fulton and his wife Sharon of Stroudsburg, PA, and Gary Fulton and his wife Jennie of Ludlow, eight grandchildren, Jason and Melissa, Sara and Rebecca, and Heather, Heidi and Amber, eight great-grandchildren, Dylan, Logan, Caleb, Zoe, Nolan, Kyle, Lily and Emily. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Lorraine will be on Saturday, Dec. 17, with Calling Hours from 9am-11am in Nowak Funeral and Cremation Service, and a Funeral Service to follow in the funeral home at 11am. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date in Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield. A special thank you to the great staff at Wingate for their care and kindness.
