Maureen R. (Ledger) Ledger Gallagher

Maureen Rae Gallagher (nee Ledger), 65, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2015 after a long illness. Born in Ludlow to the late Harry and May (Riley) Ledger of Indian Orchard (I.O.), she was a lifelong area resident. Maureen had worked in graphics arts for Mass Mutual and later devoted her life to raising her beloved sons. She also worked at various part time jobs, including Mary’s Flowers in I.O. She loved volunteering for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Maureen will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She was predeceased by her parents; her son, Kolby Ledger and 2 sisters: Karen Ledger and Marjorie Perella.

She leaves her son, MaCabe Gallagher of New Rochelle, NY; 2 sisters: Gloria Mitchell of I.O. and Diane Ledger of Brewster, MA; a niece, Mary Jo Rebelo; 2 nephews: Gary and Barry Perella, along with several great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Orchard Covenant Church, 95 Berkshire St., I.O.
