Michael Joseph O'Sullivan

Michael Joseph “Harp” O’Sullivan, passed away on December 24, 2016 with his loving family by his side after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Springfield, MA on May 10, 1958 to the late John O’Sullivan and Eileen (O’Connor) O’Sullivan.

He leaves his son Jason O’Sullivan (Erica); granddaughter Anastasia Maureen; brother John O’Sullivan (Claudette); sister Colleen Pafumi, all of Springfield, sisters Erin Grassetti (Raymond) and Maureen O’Sullivan (Mickey) from Monson; his dearest nephew and friend Joseph Pafumi and nephews Michael Pafumi, Ryan and Corey O’Sullivan, Raymond Grassetti & Spike Nowak; nieces Scarlette, Hayley & Isabella Grassetti, many great nieces and nephews and his furry friend Bella who shared many cigarettes with him.

His family would like to thank the staff at Baystate Medical Oncology for understanding all of Michael’s special needs with special thanks to Renee, Julia, Lizzy and Monique.

Funeral Services for Michael will be held on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 with Calling Hours from 9:30-11:30am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Service, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield with a Prayer Service to follow at 11:30am in the funeral home.
