Peter Michael Zabeyda

Peter Michael Zabeyda, age 73, died at the Jewish Geriatric Nursing Home in Longmeadow, Massachusetts on September 25, 2016.

Born April 24, 1943 in Holyoke, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Patricia (Flint) Zabeyda and was educated in local schools.

Peter is survived by his wife of 48 years Huguette M. Zabeyda of West Springfield, Massachusetts and his sister Jane E. Zabeyda of Springfield, Massachusetts. Peter was predeceased by his sister Patricia Anne Zabeyda in 2014.

His family would like to thank the staff of Jewish Geriatric Services for the care and comfort which they provided to Peter and also Sarah Mouser for her compassionate care.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
