Robert W. Mongeau

Robert William Mongeau, 81, passed away December 19, 2017 at home. He was born in Easthampton, MA on December 24, 1935, the son of the late Charles A. and Gladys C. (Kelley) Mongeau. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Parish in Ludlow. For 32 years he worked as a truck driver with McLean Trucking Co., earning many safe driving awards and then worked for Preston Trucking, retiring after many years. He was a proud member of Teamsters Local 671 and 404. He loved taking trips to the casinos and was an avid Boston Bruins fan.

Robert was predeceased by his loving wife, Harriet (Cox) Mongeau on December 6, 2013.

He leaves his daughter, Diane Witowski and her husband Mark of Ludlow and many other family members and friends.

Services were private and held at the convenience of the family. .
