Stella M. Kowalczyk

Stella M. (Ciborowski) Kowalczyk, 67, passed away April 13, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ludlow to the late Walter and Mary (Wisniowski) Ciborowski, she was a lifelong resident of Ludlow. She worked for Monsanto/Solutia before retiring after 38 years. One of her favorite activities was visiting the casinos. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles W. Kowalczyk, Jr. and her nephew Eric Wolcheck. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Steven J. Kowalczyk and his wife Denise; her companion, Ronnie Belunas; her sisters, Jane Wolcheck of Indian Orchard and Elaine Sabourin and husband Raymond of Palmer; her sisters-in-law, Catherine Kowalczyk, Claudia Kowalczyk, Cecilia Kowalczyk, and Charlotte Perkarski and husband John; her nieces, Karen Ferreira and husband Victor, Lisa Allsop and husband Bill, Karen Taylor and husband Craig; her nephews, Scott Sabourin, Michael Pekarski and wife May; her great-nephews, Shaun and Owen Ferreira, Bryce and Braydon Allsop, Andrew and Weston Taylor, Thomas and James Pekarski; as well as many cousins and friends. Funeral services were private and entrusted to Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield, MA.
