Wladyslawa (Wojdacz) Mruk

Wladyslawa (Wojdacz) Mruk, 86, passed away January 12, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wojtowa, Poland to the late Pawel and Anna (Setlak) Wojdacz. In 1980, she came to the United States to be with her family. She lived in Easthampton and Wilbraham before settling with her daughter, Zofia Kendall, in South Hadley. She loved traveling to Poland as often as she could and enjoyed gardening, visiting old friends, and cooking some of the best Polish food.

She leaves behind her loving family: her children, Maria Wrozek of Show Low, AZ, Zofia Kendall and her husband William of South Hadley, Andrzej Wrozek and his wife Aleksandra of Chicopee, Ann Przewoznik and her husband Wladyslaw of Wilbraham and Sylvester Mruk and his wife Bozena of Hadley; 10 grandchildren, Mark and Kathleen Lefevre, Iwona Wojtaszek, Krzysztof Wrozek, Joann Hemingway, Christine and John Przewoznik and Monika, Magdalena and Marcin Mruk; 9 great-grandchildren, Sebastian and Olivia Wojtaszek and Abigail, Meghan, Emma, Sidney, Amber, Jonathan and Allison Lefevre, and also many other family members and friends in this country and in Poland.

She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Jan Wrozek in 1960; her second husband, Antoni Mruk in 1989 and 5 brothers, Boleslaw, Tadeusz, Juliusz, Edward and Marian Wojdacz.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 assembling at 10:00 a.m. at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield and proceeding to Immaculate Conception Church for a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee. Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
