Beverly Ann (Whitmore) Parker, 87, passed away February 27, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Springfield on June 23, 1930 to the late Donald and Louise (Douglas) Whitmore, she was a lifelong Springfield resident. Beverly retired at age 55 from the former AT&T Telephone Company and then worked part-time for Shawmut Bank. She spent time traveling across the U.S. with her late husband, Richard, in their RV camper and also taking yearly trips to Newport, RI with her niece. An avid Red Sox fan, she attended many games in Boston and Ft. Meyers, FL. She enjoyed candle pin bowling with her family and the Westinghouse League, was an avid card player and bingo player. She was a member of the Garden Bells at The Wellington in Springfield. Beverly was a great cook and especially loved preparing dishes for family celebrations.
She will dearly missed by her loving family: her daughter Marilyn Daniels of Belchertown; her brother Donald Whitmore and his wife Mary of Southington, CT; 4 grandchildren, Wade Danio and his wife Annette, Todd Danio and his wife Trisha, Jill Demir and her husband Dan and Vicky Danio; 5 great-grandchildren, Craig, Sara, TJ, Jessica and Lindsee; a great-great-granddaughter, Layla and many nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends at The Wellington. She was predeceased by her parents; her 1st husband, Victor Seline Jr.; her 2nd husband, Richard Parker; a daughter, Nancy Danio; a brother, Richard Whitmore and 2 sisters, Ruth Zambs and Shirley Mullaly.
