Charlotte Mary (Burtt) Livingstone, 71, passed away October 4, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Loudon, New Hampshire, she was the second oldest of 10 children of Barbara (Moore) Burtt and the late Owen Burtt. Charlotte had lived in Springfield for over 40 years. She worked as a math teacher for the Springfield Public Schools, including Chestnut Middle School and Van Sickle Junior High School. Charlotte was a very active participant and choir member of Evangel Assembly of God in Wilbraham. A dedicated contributor to World Vision, a global Christian humanitarian organization, she sponsored a child in Tanzania for 10 years. Over the years, she was a loving caretaker for many people in need, both in her home and in the community.

She leaves: a son, Jayson Livingstone and his wife Gail of Thompson, CT, a daughter, Tiffany Melendez and her husband Rogeer of Lynn, MA and a daughter Jennifer Forest of Westfield; her grandchildern: Naishalie, Roger Jr  and announcing/expecting Charlie Melendez, and Olivia Rose Heropoulos; her mother, Barbara Burtt of Lee, MA; her siblings: Sandra Bowden, Sherry Jensen, Keith Burtt, Kevin Burtt, Norman Burtt, Brian Burtt, Darrell Burtt, Michelle Perkins and Duane Burtt, and their beloved husbands and wives; numerous nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends. 

A celebration of Charlotte's life will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Evangel Assembly of God, 348 Stony Hill Road, Wilbraham with Calling Hours from 9-11AM followed by a funeral service at 11AM. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11AM at the Springfield Cemetery, 171 Maple St., Springfield. Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements.
