Jane M. (Menard) Zanetti

Jane M. (Menard) Zanetti, 82, of Chicopee, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Holyoke HealthCare Center. Born in West Springfield on Oct. 11, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Leonard & Rose (Proulx) Menard. Jane lived in South Hadley until she moved to Chicopee in 1984. She worked as a cable maker for Holyoke Wire & Cable. Jane enjoyed her volunteer work, singing at the Arbors in Chicopee, visiting the Chicopee Senior Center, and running the BINGO at her apartment complex.

The wife of the late Robert Zanetti, she is survived by a son, Leo Zanetti and his wife Karen of West Springfield, a daughter, Jane Carter and her husband Patrick of South Hadley, as well as her four grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Jane will be on Friday, March 9, with a Calling Hour from 9am-10am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield followed by a Graveside Service at St. Michael’s Cemetery, State St., Springfield at 11am.
