Joan E. (Smith) Westcott

Joan E. (Smith) Westcott, 77, of Wilbraham and formerly of Springfield, died Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Wingate at Wilbraham. Born March 16, 1940 in Brownville Junction, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Bertha (Rolfe) Smith.

The wife of the late Joseph R. Westcott, Joan is survived by two sons, Mahlon Beal, Jr. and his wife Berleese of Springfield and Timothy Beal and his wife Betty of Belchertown, four daughters, Kathy Drinkwine , Tammy Ferry and Crystal Murray all of Ludlow and Kimberly Beal and her husband Leonardo Martinez of Springfield, a step-son, Richard Westcott of Springfield, one brother, Kenneth Smith and his wife Annette of Florida, as well as 11 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren and her two nieces, Katrina and Rachel.
