Marek Zukowski

Marek Zukowski, 60, passed away on June 13, 2019 at home surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Czarna Bialostocka, Poland on July 6, 1958 to the late Czeslaw and Krystyna (Koziol) Zukowski, he immigrated to the United States in 2001 and had lived in Ludlow for over 18 years.

Marek was as an amazing woodworker, building many remarkable handiworks. He was an accomplished electrician, and loved working with mechanical things. He had a talent for being able to fix just about anything and would use those skills to help others. In his free time he loved fresh water and deep sea fishing.

A committed father who always provided for his family, he will be remembered as a kind, good person who had “super hero” qualities to those that loved him.

Marek leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Marta Watracz and her husband Pawel of Granby, Magda Zukowski of Ludlow, and Marcin Zukowski of Poland; his grandchildren: Zuzanna and Dorian Zukowski and Julia and Amelia Watracz; his sister, Barbara Szeszko of Chicopee, and his nephew, Sebastian Szeszko of Chicopee. He was predeceased by his wife, Bozena (Lazarska) Zukowski.

Funeral mass will take place on June 22, 2019 at 10:00 am, at the Divine Mercy Parish, 2267 Main St. Three Rivers, MA 01080, followed by burial at The Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, 800 Montgomery St. Chicopee, MA 01013. Please join the family for a gathering with refreshments after the services at the Immaculate Conception Church cafeteria at 25 Parker St. Indian Orchard, MA 01151.
