Dear Paul,
I am so sorry for your loss. Oh my goodness I can't believe she is gone. I am so sorry to say that I had not seen her in years but have thought about her many times and wondered how she was doing. I am saddened by her passing and will miss her terribly. I have many happy memories of her while working together at Per-Se. She would always come out with things that were just totally off the wall. Like the time she wore a T-shirt from Alaska with Puffins on it and went up to male co-worker, who was very shy and said, "do these look familiar." He had just returned from Alaska - hence Marla asking him if these look familiar. He turned bright red then quickly walked back into his office. It was very funny. We had become good friends while working together and shared many laughs. I was even her brides made when she married you. That was a fun day. She did not think before she spoke, just kinda of blurted things out and that always made the days at work more interesting than what they should have been. That was just one of many things that happened while working together. I will never forget her and will miss my dear friend, "Maple Syrple" very much. She was a great person and she loved you with all her heart.

Thank you for the beautiful note and I appreciate it. Very much. I'm Marla's sister. This has rocked my world and I miss her everyday. My daughter Amber has not been the same. She looked up to my sister as another mother. Thank you for sharing.
