Mieczyslaw Dymkowski, 71, passed away due to cancer on June 19th, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MA. Born and educated in Poland to the late Feliks and Helena Dymkowska (Jedrzejczak), he emigrated to the United States in 1993 from Walbrzych, Poland. He worked at Elite Chemicals and James Austin Company in Ludlow, where he retired at age 65. He enjoyed spending time in Cape Cod with his family, gardening, soccer and was a faithful communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.
Besides his wife of 46 years Wanda Dymkowska (Skora) of Chicopee, he leaves behind his son Piotr Dymkowski of Belchertown, daughter-in–law Beata and his favorite and only granddaughter Veronica. He also leaves his brother-in-law Joseph Skora and his wife Wanda of Ludlow and many nieces, nephews, friends and family members in the US, as well as his family and friends in Poland; brother Andrzej Dymkowski and wife Urszula and his sister Jadwiga Wawrzyniak.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23rd, 2017 assembling at 10 am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services and proceeding to Immaculate Conception Church for a 11 am Funeral Mass, then on to St. Aloysius Cemetery for a Christian Burial. Calling hours will take place on the evening of Thursday, June 22nd from 5-7pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services in Springfield.
