Norma Arena Obituary
Norma E. (Davignon) Arena, 91, passed away May 10, 2018 at East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony C. Arena in 1997.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Springfield. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed trips to the casino and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter Marlene Ekmalian and her husband George of Springfield and her son Michael A. Arena and his wife Colleen of Westfield. She leaves three grandsons: Keith Ekmalian, Joe Ekmalian and his wife Kathy and Eric Arena. She also leaves four great-grandchildren: Vinny, Nicky, Anthony and Paul Ekmalian.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at the East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Home for the compassionate care given to Norma. All services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
