Ramon F. Rivera

Ramon F. Rivera, 76, passed away March 2, 2017, at home.

Born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Ramon Rivera Fernandez and Ramona Rivera Falcon. In 1959, he came to the United States and had resided in Springfield since 1972. He worked as a machine operator for Chemi Graphics. He was a musician who loved old Spanish music and sang in bands in his younger years.  He was a member of various musical groups and recorded with his band in the 70’s.

  Ramon will be remembered as a good man, a great father and a dedicated husband who always provided for his family. He leaves his wife of 51 years, Carole Rivera and his son Raymond B. Rivera; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
