Theresa Jeannette (Bolduc) Mitus

Jeannette Theresa (Bolduc) Mitus, born June 7, 1930, passed peacefully on April 27 at Heritage Hall East in Agawam. She was born in Mexico, ME but lived most of her life in Wilbraham, MA. Once her first child Christine was born she realized being a Mom was her calling in life. She then took excellent care of her husband and five children. Theresa enjoyed gardening, baking, going for long rides to Walmart and just relaxing in her yard with her little dog, Sophie. She was often generous to a fault.

She was predeceased by her husband, Mitchell J. Mitus; her daughter, Christine T. (Mitus) Rose; brothers, George and Cyril Bolduc and sisters, Grace Lemay and Julie Roberts.

She leaves behind her sons, Steven Mitus and his wife Moira, Peter Mitus and his wife Teresa, and Paul Mitus; her daughter, Nancy Coffey and her husband Daniel; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-granddaughters.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Hall East – Homestead Unit for the care, respect, love and compassion they had shown Theresa over the past year.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. A private family gathering will be held on Tues. May 4, 2017. Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services is entrusted with the arrangements.
