Agnieszka (Czarniecki) Trela

Agnieszka Trela, 95, of Bulat Drive in Springfield died Monday April 5, 2021.

Born in Staszicow, Poland January 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Maria and Ignacy Czarniecki.  Agnieszka and her family were refugees during WWII in Russia, several Middle Eastern countries and subsequently emigrated to the United States from England. 

Agnieszka lost her husband, Feliks, in 1992 and also her daughter, Terri Anderson, in 2012.  Besides her son, Tadeusz Trela and wife Mary, she leaves her sister, Janina Moszynski, and 3 grandchildren, Maria Lockhart, Dan Anderson and John Anderson as well as 2 God-daughters, Ann Gregg and Wanda Gallagher.

Spending time with family and close friends while sharing meals and memories were the most important things to Agnieszka.

Funeral Services for Agnieszka will be on Saturday, April 10 with Calling Hours from 9am-11am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield, followed by a Prayer Service in the funeral home at 11am and then Committal Services at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Springfield. COVID-19 precautions with required masks and responsible distancing will be observed.
