Aniela J. Skoczylas

Aniela J. “Nellie” Skoczylas, 98, of Indian Orchard, died July 15, 2024 at the Life Care Center of Wilbraham. Born in Ludlow on Feb. 20, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Jan and Julia (Krawczyk) Skoczylas.

Nellie was a long-time member of Immaculate Conception Church, and worked as a machine operator for U.S. Envelope.

In addition to her parents, Nellie is predeceased by her two brothers, Theodore Skoczylas and Mitchell Skoczylas. She is survived by a niece, a nephew and her dear friend Catherine Lassi.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Calling Hour on Thursday, July 18, from 10am-11am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield, followed by a Prayer Service in the funeral home at 11am and then committal services at St. Aloysius Cemetery, Berkshire Ave., Springfield.
