Arthur F. Curtis, Jr., 95, of Chicopee, died Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Life Care Center in Wilbraham. Born in Chicopee Falls on Feb. 2, 1925, he was the son of the late Arthur Curtis, Sr. and Catherine (Allen) Curtis. Arthur worked first as a machinist, and later as a Q.C. Inspector for Package Machinery until he retired. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WW II, serving from 1942-1946 as a Sergeant.

He is survived by two children, his daughter, Donna Johnson and her husband Brian of Granby, and a son, Gary Curtis and his wife Ami-Jo of Granby, two grandchildren, Michael and Brianne Johnson, and his sister, Linda Engel and her husband Lazlo of Chicopee.

Funeral Services for Arthur will be held privately by his family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to either, Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA, 01104 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-9959.
