Barbara A. (Galusza) Grissom

Barbara Ann (Galusza) Grissom, 75, passed away January 28, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Florence, MA on January 31, 1947 to the late Felix and Bertha (Moraski) Galusza and grew up in Northampton. Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Northampton High School and went on to graduate from Northampton Community College in 1965. Since 1989, she had resided in Ludlow where she was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church. Barbara retired as the training academy coordinator from Smith & Wesson after 30 years of service. She loved to travel, tend to her garden, and bowling.

She leaves her devoted husband of 55 years, Michael Grissom; her beloved sons, David Grissom and his wife Maureen of Lee and Kevin Grissom of Belchertown; her treasured grandsons, Tyler and Cole Grissom of Belchertown; her siblings and their spouses: Dorothy and Bernd Winkler of Berlin, Germany, Janet Hukowicz of Hadley, Ann and Claude Duquette of North Palm Beach, FL, and Mark and Janet Galusza of Anderson, SC, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother-in-law Dennis Hukowicz.
