Barbara L. (Collina) Yargeau

Barbara L. (Collina) Yargeau 78 succumbed to pancreatic cancer at home in Bethlehem NH on Thursday, January 10,2018. She was born June 21, 1940 in Springfield, daughter of the late William and Louise (Cyranowski) Collina. Barbara graduated from Commerce High School class of 58. She was a homemaker until her children reached high school age,  then worked for Sunshine Art Studios in East Longmeadow where she retired as a supervisor. She enjoyed nature, and loved time spent with the family at Moosehead Lake Maine and  in the  New Hampshire mountains where she last settled with her husband Robert. Many years were also spent  as "snow birds" where she could be found walking the beaches of Fort Pierce Florida. She was known for her large collection of sea glass.She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching the Red Sox.

Besides leaving her husband Robert of 57 years, she leaves sons Daniel of Bethlehem and Douglas and his wife Kristin of Pepperell. A daughter Cheryl Yargeau of Springfield and a sister Dorothy Cullinan of Schenectady NY.She also leaves grand daughters Madeline and Bridgette Yargeau of Pepperell, Olivia Yargeau of East Longmeadow and grandsons Martin Yargeau of East Longmeadow and Brandon Peterson of Springfield. She was predeceased by a brother George  Collina who died in Vietnam.
