Bernice D. (Clement) Laterreur

Bernice Diane (Clement) Laterreur, 81, passed away May 15, 2024 at Chestnut Hill of East Longmeadow. Born in Fall River, MA on November 6, 1942 to the late Omer and Beatrice (Boyer) Clement, she was raised in Fall River and had been a Springfield resident for the past 55 years. Bernice was a member of the Evangelical Assembly of God in Wilbraham for many years. She was talented in many crafts including crocheting, painting and drawing. Family was most important to Bernice and she relished time spent with her loved ones.

She leaves her children and their spouses: Janice and Rene Bryant of Springfield, Brenda and Kevin Stackhouse of Springfield, Donald and Lisa Joseph of Monson, Gilles O. and Dorothy Laterreur of Torrington, CT, Elianne Gelinas of West Springfield, and Theresa “Terry” and David Denehy of Springfield; a brother, Roger Clement of Hartford, CT and a sister Janice Terry and her wife Gloria Stuart of Pawtucket, RI; along with many grandchildren, other extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Gilles A. Laterreur, three children, Richard, James and Bernadette Laterreur and a sister, Pauline Gauthier.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield from 12pm-2pm followed by a funeral home service at 2pm.
