Beverly R. (Chapman) Garcia

Beverly R. (Chapman) Garcia, 73, passed away June 28, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, MA on January 13, 1952 to the late John and Marilyn (Bliss) Chapman, she was a lifelong Springfield resident. In her early years, Beverly worked as a nurse’s aide at Chapin Center, where she compassionately cared for the residents. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, and spending time with her dogs. Most of all, she loved being with her grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

She leaves her children, Stephanie Chapman of Springfield, Steven Chapman and his fiancé Nancy Machado of Springfield, and Annmarie Chapman of Ware; 7 grandchildren, Sarah Rivera, Sadie Rivera, Celeste Chapman, Makayla Clay, Azariah Medina, Armanni Galarza, and Selene Chapman; 3 great-grandchildren, Zaidyn Sanchez, Princeton Sanchez, and Liam Luciano; a sister, Margie Bugno of Prospect, KY, along with many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Carmelo Garcia; a brother John Chapman and 2 sisters, Diane Osgood and Christine Burns.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 4:00-6:00pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00pm.
