Carolynn R. Dearing, 56, went home to be with the Lord at her home in Springfield on Saturday, May 16, following a period of declining health.
Born in Springfield on August 19, 1969, Carolynn will be remembered as a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and compassionate soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those around her. She had a deep love for her community and dedicated much of her time serving on her local community board. Carolynn will always be remembered for her kindness and warm spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Carolynn was predeceased by her beloved son, Justin M. Dearing, who passed away last year. She leaves behind her mother, Mattie Gromacki of Springfield; her two sons, Carmelo J. Torres and Joshua A. Torres, both of Springfield; her daughter-in-law, Sahira I. Torres-Vazquez; her “bonus” daughter, Stephanie Trudel of Springfield; and her cherished grandchildren, Saige Torres, Isaac Torres, and Selah Torres.
Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours for Carolynn on Saturday, May 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. A Prayer Service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon.
