Catherine M. (Williams) Zawrotny

Catherine M. “Cathy” (Williams) Zawrotny, 75, of East Longmeadow, died March 10, 2026 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in St. Albans, VT on August 6, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Williams and Marion (Dominique) of Essex, VT.

Cathy was raised in Richmond, VT and graduated from Mount Mansfield Union High School in Jericho, VT.  She was also a graduate of the Mansfield Beauty School and worked as a hairdresser for several years.

She worked in Customer Service for several area retail establishments. A resident of East Longmeadow for the past 35 years, Cathy was an avid crocheter and enjoyed working on the computer.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 57 years, Peter J. Zawrotny, a daughter, Angela Fiore and her husband Anthony of Springfield, a son, William Zawrotny and his wife Alena of Atlanta, GA, and a granddaughter, Taylor Fiore. She is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours for Cathy will be held on Monday, March 16, from 5-7pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield. A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, March 17 at 12noon in the funeral home ( please arrive 11:30-11:45am ). Her committal services will follow at the MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 2pm.
