Chester John Starzyk, 82, passed away May 23, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Ludlow to the late John and Salomea (Tokarz) Starzyk, he was a lifelong Indian Orchard resident and a graduate of Cathedral High School. Chet served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, stationed in Germany, and was a member of the Polish American Veterans Club. He also found joy in the kitchen and savoring traditional Polish dishes. An animal lover at heart, Chet had a special bond with his dogs, who brought him companionship over the years. Chet supported numerous charities throughout his life and will be remembered most for his generous spirit.
He leaves his brothers: Edward Starzyk and wife Maria of Laguna Niguel, CA, Richard Starzyk of Dennis Port, MA, and Ronald Starzyk and partner Christine Seegmiller of Mission Viejo, CA; his beloved nieces and nephews: Kerry Quinnin and her husband Nigel, Jennifer Starzyk and her partner Tim Woods, Thomas Starzyk, Michael Starzyk, and Elizabeth Slowick and her husband Andrew and great-nephews Noah and James, along with other extended family members and many friends.
