Chris is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maryelizabeth (Murphy) Rust, his four daughters, Amy Rust and her husband Christopher of Westfield, Bridget Criscio and her husband Ralph of Enfield, CT, Elizabeth Rust of Ludlow and Cara Rust and family; two brothers, Brian Rust of Easthampton and Jeffrey Rust of Illinois, as well as grandchildren, Danny, Kayliana, Vincent, Gavin, and Luciano. Chris was the brother of the late Garry Rust and James Rust.
Chris’ family would like to extend their thanks to the Oncology Department at Baystate Medical Center for their wonderful care and support, and to Chris’ place of work at C.S.I. for all their support throughout Chris’ illness.
There will be Calling Hours for Chris on Friday, Dec. 6, from 10:30am-12:30pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield followed by a Prayer Service in the funeral home at 12:30pm. Burial will be private at a later date.
