Cynthia M. (Tyburski) Skarzynski

Cynthia M. (Tyburski) Skarzynski, 72, passed away April 13, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer at Orchard Valley in Wilbraham where she had resided for the past 9 months. Born in Ludlow to the late Walter and Sophie (Wisk) Tyburski, she was a lifelong Springfield and Indian Orchard resident. Cynthia worked for many years as a customer service representative for MassMutual, retiring in 2013. She was a member of the Women’s Club BETA Sigma Phi. She enjoyed attending book club meetings with friends, knitting and gardening.

Cynthia leaves her husband of 37 years, Stanislaus Skarzynski; her brother, Joseph Tyburski and his wife Alicia of Ludlow; her nephews, Nicolas and Daniel Skarzynski, along with many other family members and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Spectrum Hospice Care and their exceptional staff for the compassionate care given to Cynthia.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 with a Calling Hour from 9:30-10:30am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Indian Orchard and then proceeding to Immaculate Conception Church, 25 Parker St., Indian Orchard for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery.
