Daniel J. Salamon

Daniel J. Salamon passed away February 9, 2026 after a long battle with cancer. Dan was born in Springfield on January 26, 1980 to Joel and Marcia Salamon and was a proud resident of Indian Orchard.  He was an avid sportsman enjoying his hunting and fishing. He loved socializing with friends and family grilling up tasty treats. Dan was also a big New England sports fan, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. He loved his dog Bodie, ice cold beer and a good bifana.

Dan is survived by his parents Marcia and Joel Salamon, his brother Steven Salamon and his wife Jodi, his sister Michelle Sanchez and her husband Mike, his niece Madison Sanchez, his nephews Lucien Salamon, Maximus Sanchez and Michael Sanchez, his Aunt Joy Unwin and her husband Larry, his Uncle Mark Falardeau and his wife Anna and several cousins who loved him dearly.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church, 25 Parker St., Indian Orchard followed by burial at St. Aloysius Cemetery. Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements.
