David R. Reynolds

David R. Reynolds M.D., 78, of Hampden, MA, passed away on June 30, 2024, at home. Born in Troy, NY to the late Dorothy and Howard S. Reynolds, David is survived by his wife Heather Beattie, son Nathaniel Reynolds, stepdaughters Alexandra Lydon and Jessica O’Brien, and granddaughter Fiona O’Brien.

David served in the US Army during the Vietnam War as an SurgicalTechnician. He graduated from Wesleyan University, Long Island University Physician Assistant Program, and New York Medical College. David practiced general surgery for 23 years in the Massachusetts  Pioneer Valley. In addition to his love of the practice of medicine, he loved experiencing nature through camping, canoeing, and more.

A private “Celebration of Life” will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Doctors without Borders or Heifer International.
