Diane Susan (Stanfield) Beigert

Diane S. (Stanfield) Beigert, 71, of Springfield died unexpectedly on June 6, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Springfield on Dec. 15, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Paul L. and Marion (Reed) Stanfield.

Diane lived in Agawam until she moved to Springfield in 1970. She worked as a retail clerk for area stores but was presently working at the Dollar Tree on Parker St. in Springfield. She was an active member and volunteer at the Ludlow Senior Center, where she enjoyed lunches, cards and BINGO with her best friend, Nancy Monson.

Diane was predeceased by her eldest child, Mark Beigert who died May 21, 2019. She is survived by her children, Susan Huston, Amy Goff (Jeff), John Beigert and David Beigert, all of Springfield, her life partner, William “Bill” Beigert of Springfield, her sister, Paula Lafrance (Jeff) of Enfield, her brothers, Michael Stanfield of Agawam, Keith Stanfield (Barbara) of Enfield and her five grandchildren, Kennedy, Jessica, Vanessa, Trevor and Abigail and her niece Kim Binnenkade (Barry), and also many cousins, other family members, friends and coworkers.

Calling Hours will be held for Diane on Monday, June 12, from 4-7pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield. A Prayer Service and Remembrance will be offered at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 13 at 9:30am with burial to follow at Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield.
