Diane N. Ledger

Diane N. Ledger, 83, passed away August 9, 2023 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Ludlow on August 20, 1939 to the late Harry and May (Riley) Ledger, she grew up in Indian Orchard and was a longtime resident of Irvine, CA before returning to Indian Orchard in 2005. Diane worked as Vice-President of the Law Department for Pacific Life Insurance Company in California for many years, retiring in 2005. She loved her home on Cape Cod and hummingbirds were her passion. Diane was a strong, independent woman who was well liked by her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters, Marjorie Perella, Karen Ledger and Maureen Ledger, and a nephew, Kolby Ledger. She leaves her sister: Gloria Mitchell of Indian Orchard; a niece, Mary Jo Rebelo and her husband Americo Rebelo, Jr.; three nephews: Gary Perella and his wife Janice, Barry Perella and his wife Cheryl, and MaCabe Gallagher and his partner Sue Price and six great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services with Calling Hours from 1-3pm followed by a funeral home service at 3pm. A private burial at sea will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, P.O.
