Dorothy M. (Reynolds) Borrello

Dorothy Mae (Reynolds) Borrello, 85, passed away October 1, 2019 at East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center. Born in Ludlow on December 27, 1933 to the late Earl Reynolds and Dorothy (Fuller) Guild, she was a lifelong area resident. Dorothy retired from The Student Prince Restaurant where she was a waitress for 40 years. During her time there, she met many people, developed close relationships with staff and customers, and was loved by all the clientele. She enjoyed spending time with her family who will deeply miss her.

Dorothy leaves 2 sons, Frank Borrello, Jr. of Springfield and Stanley Nelson, Jr. and his wife Sherri of Ware; 2 brothers, Edgar Reynolds and his wife Darlene of Springfield and Ralph Reynolds and his wife Claire of Easthampton; her grandchildren: Roland, Dawn, Keith, Melissa, Jessica, and Ashley, along with many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Frank Borrello, Sr.; a son, Roland “Sonny” Nelson; a brother, Earl Reynolds, Jr., and her first husband, Stanley Nelson, Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 10:00am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield followed by burial at Island Pond Cemetery, Ludlow. Calling hours will be Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.
