Douglas J. Enman, 62, of Ludlow, died January 23, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Rochester, NH on Oct. 20, 1962, he is the son of Joanne M. (Brunelle) Enman of Florida and the late Roy R. Enman, Sr.
Doug had lived in Chicopee prior to moving to Ludlow 28 years ago. He worked as a truck driver for the past 40 years. He transported hazardous waste materials for nine years and later worked for Maines Truck Driving Co. hauling tandem doubles. He loved snowmobiling in Vermont with his brother, brother-in-law, and his many friends. He also loved food, about as much as his family. His favorites included lobster, seafood and steak. He was taken out for one of his favorite meals just a few days ago. Doug had a love for bonfires and singing, and would do karaoke any chance he could.
Doug is survived by his wife of 42 years, Tammy J. (Cote) Enman, his two daughters, Sara Enman and Brittany Enman both of Ludlow, two sisters, Deborah Brooks of Florida and Roberta Lanz of Vernon, CT, three brothers, Roy Enman and Ronald Enman both of Florida, and Michael Enman of Connecticut. He also leaves three grandchildren, Devon Santos ( shares the same birthday as Doug, Makenzie Caron ( born one day before Doug’s birthday) and Isaac Davila, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. He was predeceased by David and Geraldine Enman.
Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours for Doug which will be held on Wednesday, January 29, from 4pm – 6pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield, MA.
