INDIAN ORCHARD
Elizabeth Joan (Taylor) Quinn, 72, passed away January 27, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at Baystate Medical Center from complications due to Covid. Born in Ludlow on February 7, 1949 to the late William and Katherine (Thompson) Taylor, she was a lifelong Indian Orchard resident and was a 1967 graduate of Ludlow High School. Elizabeth worked as a bookkeeper at several area firms including Mercy Hospital, Hampden Reporting, Brad Co. and for 25 years at Credit Data Services. Elizabeth enjoyed traveling with her husband, going to breakfast each week with her son, and the special times shared with her daughter. Her greatest joy was spending time with the loves of her life, her beloved granddaughters, Catharine and Kelsey. She was a devoted grandmother and never missed sporting events or other activities.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 52 years, William E. Quinn; her children, William R. Quinn of Indian Orchard and Carol Brennan and her husband Scott of Wilbraham; her grandchildren, Catharine and Kelsey Brennan; her sisters, Diane Dryjowicz and her husband John of Ludlow, Mary Sakowski of Indian Orchard and Carol Maynard of Palmer, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Jack Taylor; 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth and Rosie Brennan; brothers-in-law, Robert Sakowski and Albert Albro; sisters-in-law, Susan Clark, Mary Quinn and Lisa Quinn and a nephew Cory Quinn.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 4-7pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Indian Orchard. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 assembling at the funeral home at 11am and proceeding to St. Cecilia Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Indian Orchard.
