Emily Lavigne Obituary
Emily Ann (Galarneau) LaVigne, 82, of Springfield died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Ludlow on July 26, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Emilia (Jordan) Galarneau. Emily worked in the Assessor’s Office for the City of Springfield for many years. The sister of the late Ernest “Blacky” Galarneau, Jr. and Thomas Galarneau, she is survived by her two sisters, Dorothy Sowa and Virginia Yvon as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held for her on Monday, Sept. 19, at 11am at St. Aloysius Cemetery, 1273 Berkshire Ave., Springfield.
